One of Oregon’s oldest Main Streets, downtown Oregon City is nestled between the Willamette River and the bluffs. It charms its residents and visitors with its small town feel despite being close to the bustle of Portland. There is an eclectic mix of shops, boutiques, and restaurants. You can also enjoy a view of the city from the Municipal Elevator operated by the Downtown Oregon City Association. The elevator is just one of many Oregon City historic sites on the National Register of Historic Places.
